Overview

  • Anaerotruncus rubiinfantis is a Gram-positive, anaerobic, rod-shaped bacterium. It has been detected in at least 3 gut microbiome compilation studies or metastudies. Anaerotruncus rubiinfantis is a common gut coloniser. (Pham2017a)

  • This organism has been recovered from human faeces (girl with kwashiorkor - Bilen2018e). Pathogenicity status unknown, or very unlikely to be pathogenic. A possible gut commensal.
