Overview

  • Chryseobacterium oranimense is a Gram-negative, non-spore-forming, aerobic, non-motile, rod-shaped bacterium. Chryseobacterium oranimense is probably a rare gut coloniser. (HantsisZacharov2008; Bernardet2010Bergey)

  • This organism has been recovered from human faeces (CCUG), and milk. Pathogenicity status unknown, or very unlikely to be pathogenic. A possible gut commensal.
