  • Duodenibacillus massiliensis is a Gram-positive, non-spore-forming, anaerobic, motile, rod-shaped bacterium. It has been detected in at least 3 gut microbiome compilation studies or metastudies. Duodenibacillus massiliensis is probably a common, although minor, coloniser of the gut. (Mailhe2016b)



  • This organism has been recovered from human duodenum (Mailhe2016b). Pathogenicity status unknown, or very unlikely to be pathogenic. A possible gut commensal.
