Overview


  • Dysgonomonas massiliensis is a Gram-negative, non-spore-forming, facultatively anaerobic, non-motile, coccobacillus bacterium. The DNA G+C content is 37.3%. Dysgonomonas massiliensis is probably a rare gut coloniser. (Bilen2019)



  • This organism has been recovered from human faeces (CCUG). Pathogenicity status unknown, or very unlikely to be pathogenic. A possible gut commensal.
