Overview

  • Enterobacter timonensis is a Gram-negative, non-spore-forming, facultatively anaerobic, rod-shaped bacterium. It has been detected in at least 2 gut microbiome compilation studies or metastudies. Enterobacter timonensis is probably a rare gut coloniser. (Alou2017)

  • This organism has been recovered from human faeces (Alou2017). Pathogenicity status unknown, or very unlikely to be pathogenic. A possible gut commensal.
