Overview

  • Haemophilus quentini is a Gram-negative, non-spore-forming, facultatively anaerobic, rod-shaped bacterium. It has been detected in at least 2 gut microbiome compilation studies or metastudies. Haemophilus quentini is probably a rare gut coloniser. (Kus2019)

  • This organism has been recovered from clinical sources and human faeces. Is a rare opportunistic pathogen. A possible gut commensal.
