Overview

  • Krasilnikoviella flava, (aka Promicromonospora flava), is a Gram-positive, non-spore-forming, aerobic, non-motile, bacterium. It has been detected in at least 2 gut microbiome compilation studies or metastudies. The DNA G+C content is 71.9%. Krasilnikoviella flava is probably a rare gut coloniser. (Jiang2009)

  • This organism has been recovered from marine sediment and human faeces. Pathogenicity status unknown, or very unlikely to be pathogenic. A possible gut commensal.
