Overview

  • Luxibacter massiliensis is a Gram-positive, spore-forming, facultatively anaerobic, non-motile, rod-shaped bacterium. The DNA G+C content is 44.4%. Luxibacter massiliensis is probably a rare gut coloniser.

  • This organism has been recovered from human faeces (non-small cell lung cancer patient). Pathogenicity status unknown, or very unlikely to be pathogenic. A possible gut commensal.
