  • Mediterraneibacter massiliensis is a Gram-positive, non-spore-forming, anaerobic, non-motile, coccobacillus bacterium. The DNA G+C content is 42.4%. Mediterraneibacter massiliensis is probably a rare gut coloniser. (Togo2018)



  • This organism has been recovered from human faeces (Togo2018a). Pathogenicity status unknown, or very unlikely to be pathogenic. A possible gut commensal.
