Overview

  • Murdochiella asaccharolytica is a Gram-positive, strictly anaerobic, non-motile, coccus bacterium. It has been detected in at least 1 gut microbiome compilation study or metastudy. Murdochiella asaccharolytica is probably a rare gut coloniser. (UlgerToprak2010a)

  • This organism has been recovered from wound specimens. It is an opportunistic pathogen. A possible gut commensal.
