Overview

  • Necropsobacter rosorum is a Gram-negative, non-spore-forming, non-motile, coccus bacterium. The DNA G+C content is 52.5%. Necropsobacter rosorum is probably a rare gut coloniser. (Christensen2011)

  • This organism has been recovered from human faeces (CCUG) and clinical sources (blood, abscess - CCUG). Could be a possible pathogen in humans, but unknown at this stage. A possible gut commensal.
