Overview

  • Rubneribacter badeniensis is a Gram-positive, non-spore-forming, strictly anaerobic, non-motile, rod-shaped bacterium. It has been detected in at least 1 gut microbiome compilation study or metastudy. The DNA G+C content is 65.1%. Rubneribacter badeniensis is probably a common, although minor, coloniser of the gut. (Danylec2018)

  • This organism has been recovered from human faeces (Danylec2018). Pathogenicity status unknown, or very unlikely to be pathogenic. A possible gut commensal.

  • QUIRKS
  • In 14% of Europeans (unseenbio.com). Minor coloniser.
