Overview

  • Rummeliibacillus stabekisii is a Gram-positive, spore-forming, aerobic, motile, rod-shaped bacterium. It has been detected in at least 2 gut microbiome compilation studies or metastudies. The DNA G+C content is 34.3%. Rummeliibacillus stabekisii is probably a rare gut coloniser. (Vaishampayan2009)

  • This organism has been recovered from an aerospace facility, United States. Pathogenicity status unknown, or very unlikely to be pathogenic. A possible gut commensal.
